Focused on your work. We will handle the rest.
We work with the self-employed people who keep communities moving, training, creating and performing at their best, and we keep their tax as efficient as the rules allow.
Who we work with
These are the kinds of businesses we look after every day, so we already know your industry and speak your language.
Tax efficient, by design
Our job is to make sure you pay the right amount of tax, and no more. We do that within the rules, month in and month out, not in a rush at deadline time.
Every allowable expense
Kit, products, vehicle costs, training and fees, claimed in full and properly recorded.
Every allowance and relief
The £1,000 trading allowance where it beats claiming expenses, capital allowances and mileage rates.
The right set-up
From a side income to a full-time business, we make sure your tax set-up fits where you are now.
Expenses we make sure you claim
Every allowable expense you miss is money you hand to HMRC for no reason. Where costs are wholly and exclusively for your business, we claim them, and keep the records to back them up.

Good to know for your profession
- Trading allowance. You can deduct the £1,000 trading allowance instead of your actual expenses. We work out which leaves you better off. See our side hustles guide.
- Platforms report your income. Apps, booking platforms and card providers share data with HMRC, so your return needs to match. See how HMRC checks returns.
- Employed as well? Your main job is taxed through payroll, but self-employed income is reported separately. Our Side Hustle plan is built for this.
- Mileage or actual costs. For a car, you can claim running costs with capital allowances, or mileage rates, but not both. We pick the one that suits you.
Tax and bookkeeping that fits your work
- Self assessment prepared and filed on time
- Expenses reviewed so nothing is missed
- Monthly bookkeeping if you want it on autopilot
- A forecast of your tax bill, so there are no surprises
- Email and WhatsApp support, whenever suits you
Side Hustle from £20
Part-time or alongside a job? Side Hustle starts at £20 a month. Full-time? Sole Trader is from £29.99. Your first 2 months are free.
Questions we are often asked
Which plan is right for me?
If you work for yourself part-time or alongside a job, Side Hustle is our lowest rate. If it is your main income, Sole Trader adds monthly bookkeeping and priority support. We will point you to the right one.
I rent a chair in a salon. Can I claim it?
Yes. Chair or booth rental is a business cost for self-employed hairdressers and beauty professionals, and so are your products and tools.
What can taxi and private hire drivers claim?
Vehicle running costs, licence and badge fees, insurance, cleaning and platform commission can all be allowable. We claim for the business share of the vehicle.
Is the trading allowance better than claiming expenses?
If your income is small and your costs are low, the £1,000 allowance can beat claiming expenses. If your costs are higher, claiming expenses usually wins. We compare both.
